A couple of nice priced winners last weekend take us into the action this week with spirits high.

Dagenham and Redbridge are currently enduring a torrid run of results which has seen them drop well and truly out of the play-off pack and into mid-table. They are without a win in four and have only recorded one victory in seven. Things don’t get any easier for the Daggers this week as they host high flying Bournemouth. The Cherries seemed to be struggling themselves over Christmas but since then they have picked up the pace. They are unbeaten in four and that includes victories at home to Notts County and away at Rotherham and Crewe. The should be able to take advantage of Dagenham’s poor form and they also look a good price to boot.

Bournemouth – 9/5 – Ladbrokes

In League One, Millwall are on a great run of form that has seen the Lions creep into the play-offs. Including cup games they are eight unbeaten (in 90 minutes) and one thing that has become apparent is they are a formidable force at home. The New Den has become something for a fortress for the men in blue with one defeat at home all year and I see no reason for that to change this week. Exeter make the trip to London and I doubt they fancy their chances. No win in four and no away win in seven would suggest they are in for a tough game. Millwall on the handicap looks a solid option.

Staying in League One, another team in great form is Swindon. They find themselves in fifth position after a run of nine games without defeat where they’ve played the likes of Charlton (twice) and Leeds. New striker Charlie Austin, who the Robins acquired from non-league Poole Town has turned into some what of a revelation. This week they travel to Huddersfield who currently sit in seventh. This is a big game for both teams but with the men from the Galpharm so inconsistent Swindon look to be the value bet.
