AON CHASE WINNER TRICKY HEADS GRAND NATIONAL BETTING

Last weekend’s AON Chase winner, the Paul Nicholls-trained Tricky Trickster, heads Coral’s betting for the John Smith’s Grand National at 8-1, following the unveiling of the weights for the world’s most famous steeplechase today.  The Newbury runner-up, Niche Market, is the 14-1 second favourite, ahead of Big Fella Thanks and Black Appalachi, both 16-1, while last year’s 100-1 winner, Mon Mome, is 25-1 for a repeat success.

“The John Smith’s Grand National remains the one major chasing prize to so far elude trainer Paul Nicholls, but his team for this year’s race looks as strong as ever, headed by a big money purchase for whom the race was always the target, and who is a worthy favourite following his Grade Two victory at Newbury last weekend,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
