There is some very good action planed for this weekend and a couple of declarations catch my eye.

Firstly OH CRICK steps up in trip to tackle the Betfair Ascot Chase at 3.15 and having watched him last time out, I think the trip will really suit. He stayed on very well behind Twist Magic and Petit Robin at Ascot last time over two miles one furlong and with the Alan King yard now firing home the winners, he looks over priced at 8/1.

ADAMS ISLAND looks a fascinating runner in the 3.00 at Haydock as he really impressed me when defeating Aiteen Thirtythree at Newbury. He jumped well and galloped his rivals into submission. Haydock looks a good track for him and the ground will also help his cause. His trainer Rebecca Curtis is on the up and her bumper horses and hurdlers should be followed closely and this horse could be the one to help her break through into the bigtime.
