A couple of cracking results last weekend meaning we sit nicely in profit so far in 2010. Also if you’re struggling to find an online bookies make sure to check out our Bets4Free section and get yourself a great deal.

We will start in League Two with Port Vale v Barnet. I’ll be the first to admit this match up doesn’t exactly look the most thrilling on paper and I doubt it will go down as one of the greats, but hey, that’s not why we are here! Barnet have been dropping like a stone in the League and have only recorded one win in 17. That game was at home and to add to their woes their away form is pretty drastic. They sit only above Darlington in the away form league table and they look set for another struggle this weekend. Vale are no world beaters but they sit 8th on current form and must still have aspirations of reaching the play-offs.

Port Vale – Evens (Ladbrokes, William hill)

Despite the burden of their off the field problems, Crystal Palace have shown a lot of steel of late with some great displays in the FA Cup. We all know the type of manager Neil Warnock is and he would never let his players drop their heads. However, they have been involved in a number of tough games of late (which was shown against Reading) and one eye must be on the replay against Villa coming up. They host Coventry this weekend and I doubt it is a game they will be looking forward to. It is hardly an attractive affair and Coventry arrive here in good form. You can write off their 4-1 defeat away at Newcastle, they played well and took the lead but Newcastle are obviously very strong at St James Park and going down to 10 men really hit the blues hard. They were 5 unbeaten before that trip and rocketed up to 11th place. They look the value here at 13/5 to me.

Coventry – 13/5 (Bet365)

Two teams take my fancy in League One to make up a double. Swindon sit 3rd in the form table at present and have been the team to follow of late. They host Carlisle this weekend who have been consistent of late. After hammering MK Dons they fell to Huddersfield at home. Swindon look overpriced at 4/5. Also priced at 4/5, Exeter should be able to overcome bottom of the table Stockport. Although hovering above the relegation zone, Exeter are fairly solid at home and should be able to get back on track against a side set for relegation.

Bettrends Advice

Swindon/Exeter double – approx 3.24/1
