Football – Free weekend preview
A quick update this week and hopefully we can carry on with our good recent run. Also if you are looking for a new betting account and a deal, click on one of the bookmakers below to go to our Bets4Free section
Firstly Carlisle host Gillingham in League One. Although I realise we have touched on the fact Gillingham are poor away from home but they are also pretty poor at home. They sit only two points above relegation and nerves must be setting in. They have only recorded one win in twevle and they may struggle to change that today. Carlisle fans I would imagine would be the first to admit this season has turned into a major disappointment but I think they have shown at home they are a match for anyone. They hammered MK Dons 5-0 and gave Leeds a great game in the Johnsons Paint. I feel their home form will be too strong for the Gills

Carlisle – 10/11 (Bet365, Skybet, WillHill)
Crystal Palace have been on some what of a roller-coaster of late with all their troubles. Along with their money problems they have had a great run in the cup which ended away at Villa in the week. If they play like they did against Villa they could do well in this league, the problem is, they won’t. Their league form is poor and with the news coming out that QPR have approached Neil Warnock I doubt the team will have recieved the best build up for their game away at Doncaster today. Donny’s form hasnt been great of late but they have beaten some good teams this year and, like Carlisle, I think they may have too much for Palace on the day.

Doncaster – 6/5 (Bluesq)
I don’t think any of you could disagree with me that now is the time to take on Leeds. I don’t think you can really look at their last league win for form as it was at home to a poor Oldham side. Before that game Leeds dropped points at home to Brighton and Walsall and away at Orient. None of which are setting the league a light. Winning at Old Trafford seemed to do the club more bad than good and their run since that game has been poor. They travel to Huddlesfield today and I believe the value lies with the Terriers. The men in blue and white have won their last three (all away) and are unbeaten in ten in the league. Their home form is solid and at 13/8 are a nice price.
