NH Horses To Follow – 5th Mar 10
REVIEW OF LAST WEEK’S RACING
It was a quiet weekend for us and although QOZAK ran well for a long way at Fontwell, he was a beaten horse when he fell. Next year will be his year as he looks a chaser through and through.
NUMIDE has proved frustrating this season and last week was his chance to shine, but he failed. He could bounce back, but is one to treat with caution until he shows a return to form.
WEEKEND PREVIEW
It is very much the case of the calm before the storm this week with Cheltenham just over a week away. We have just the one runner and it is AITEEN THIRTYTHREE in the 4.20 at Newbury. The ground and trip should suit and he gets weight from the principals, so is fancied to win. Last time out he was beaten by a good horse in Adam’s Island and prior to that he badly needed the run when third at Chepstow. Although he faces decent opposition I will be very disappointed if he was not to win.
Also to give you an update, I am currently busy working on my Cheltenham Festival Short Lists report and that will be loaded on to bettrends on Monday March 15th, so please look out for it.
