France

Some tough games to solve in France’s Ligue 1 this weekend, but Lorient look decent value to win their home clash with Lens. The mid-table outfit are general evens favourites to claim all three points, but expekt.com go a standout 20/19 about their chances. Lorient have been beaten just twice at home this season and with the visitors have only won twice on their travels in the league this season there seems little reason to oppose a Lorient win.

Lorient – 20/19 (expekt.com)

Germany

Bayer Leverkusen have dropped just six points all season at home and have yet to suffer defeat on their own patch in the Bundesliga. That record will be severely tested, however, when Hamburg visit on Sunday afternoon. Hamburg have been beaten just twice away from home, but have only won four of the other 10 games. The game should be a fairly nervy affair but the 11/10 about another Leverkusen victory looks decent value to me.

Leverkusen – 11/10 (general)

Italy

Inter Milan are in action on Friday night ahead of their crucial Champions League clash with Chelsea next week and they look overpriced to me at evens to win away at Catania with expekt.com. Admittedly, Inter aren’t in the best of form having drawn four of their last five games, but they should prove too good for a team who have won just six times all season.

Put Inter in a double with the Parma, who have got back to being tough to beat in their last two games, which have culminated in four points to move them away from the relegation zone. They are 11/10 (Stan James) to overcome second from bottom Atalanta, who have won just twice away from home all season, on Sunday.

Inter Milan-Parma double – approximately 3.2/1

Spain

The first La Liga game that catches my eye is the Getafe-Mallorca clash on Saturday. The home side are 6/5 (Coral and Extrabet) to take the points and I think they will be could enough to land their first victory since mid-January against a team who, although fourth in the table, don’t travel well. Mallorca have won just twice on the travels and are worth taking on.

Tenerife have a slipped to second from bottom in the table after a dismal run of results, which includes just one win since early December. But on Sunday against an Espanyol side who have not tasted success on the road since winning for the only time away from home in September they can get back to winning ways. Back Tenerife at 13/10 (general)

Getafe – 6/5 (Coral and Extrabet)

Tenerife – 13/10 (general)
