REVIEW OF LAST WEEK

Just the one runner last week and AITEEN THIRTYTHREE was beaten a neck by Be There In Five at Newbury. There was a distance back to third but although he lost, he should not be forgotten as he is strengthening up all the time and next year he could be a very useful novice chaser.

WEEKEND PREVIEW

RED HARBOUR has been declared for the 2pm at Sandown and has a seriously good chance. He has run three times over hurdles and although yet to win, last time out he put up a promising effort at Ascot when finishing second, with the useful Lush Life three lengths behind. Lush Life next time out went on to defeat leading Cheltenham fancy Menorah at Ascot, so the form looks good. He has been allotted a handicap mark of just 122, whereas Lush Life is 139, so it is clear that he is potentially very well handicapped and I know connections reported after his last run that there is a good handicap in him and this could be it!!

NUMIDE has been declared for the Imperial Cup at 3.05 (Sandown) and can not be strongly fancied as the ground is faster than ideal and he has proved disappointing all season. It looks a very competitive race and I do not have a strong fancy in it.

Please note that with Cheltenham taking place next week, the update will be loaded on bettrends on Monday and therefore there will not be one on the Friday.

Hope you all have a great Cheltenham and back loads of winners!
