After all the excitement of Cheltenham it is a quiet weekend ahead for jumps fans. There is one horse though that catches my eye and it is OVER SIXTY in the 1.45 at Newbury on Saturday. She is unbeaten in three starts over fences and has really impressed with her jumping. She has been allotted a rating of 135 which appears fair to me and it is worth remembering that she is weighted to reverse hurdles form with likely favourite Carole’s Legacy who beat her by less than three lengths at Newbury, but is now twelve pounds worse off at the weights. Carole’s Legacy has also taken well to fences, winning all three starts and was a very good second to Quevega at Cheltenham last week, but that race may have left its mark and I prefer the fresher Over Sixty in what could be a fascinating race.
