ROUND-UP OF LAST WEEK’S RACING
Just two runners last week and unfortunately they could not match the achievements of our previous runners as neither troubled the judge. RED HARBOUR finished fifth and ERADICATE despite looking the likely winner turning for home, could only finish fourth in the Scottish Champion Hurdle.

WEEKEND PREVIEW
None of the featured ten horses are set to run this weekend, but two of them run this evening at Punchestown in the 5.30 Rabobank Champion Hurdle. DUNGUIB steps up in class to tackle the best two mile hurdlers Ireland has to offer and although he is certainly capable of running very well, he is too short in the betting for such a difficult task. HURRICANE FLY looked absolutely awesome at Punchestown last season and boasts a record of two wins from three starts at the track. On his day he is brilliant and the fact that Willie Mullins has his yard in such good form also points to a big run today. My only real concern is that he has been a doubt for this after his setback and it is possible that he will not be 100% for such a hot race. I am a big fan of the horse, but reluctantly I will have to oppose him, especially as he is likely to start favourite. I am going to take a chance on two British runners that I believe could fight out the finish. PUNJABI loves Punchestown and also has a record of two wins from three starts. The only time he was beaten was last year when he still ran a solid race on unfavourable ground to go down by just a short head to Solwhit. The ground is ideal today, as is the distance and track and 8/1 looks good value. MEDERMIT has beaten Punjabi three times this season and has proved himself a very talented hurdler. He is capable of running a big race, especially as he has only been beaten once on a right handed track. It is a very open race and the best prices have already been taken, but 10/1 looks too big to me and a reverse forecast between Punjabi and Medermit could pay a handsome dividend.

This is the final update for the season and as we stand the service has achieved an amazing 40% strike rate (42 winners from 104 runners). I hope that the service has helped you to have a very profitable season and just to keep you updated, I have already started work for next season, when the service should be bigger and better than ever.
