Cool Kaymer secures Bettrends golf hat-trick
Martin Kaymer kept his cool in the PGA Championship to beat Bubba Watson in a play-off and secure a hat-trick of wins for Bettrends golf updates.
Our resident golf expert James Cochrane advised Ross Fisher at 20/1 for the Irish Open two weeks ago, Hunter Mahan at 45/1 for the Bridgestone Invitational last week and he secured the hat-trick of successive wins suggesting the German at 50/1, he wrote;
“The second player is a European who I believe will relish the conditions up against him this week. Martin Kaymer has Major winner written all over him and although he struggles at some courses in the US because of his low ball flight, this links layout should suit him. Martin arrives here after a 22nd place finish last week and some good performances in the majors. Augusta is totally against his style of play so his 54th place can be forgiven but an 8th place at the US Open and 7th at the Open stand him in good stead and confidence is sure to be high. He hits the ball long and will be able to deal with any wind he may come up against. His GIR and putting are both strong and I expect him to go close.”
The level stakes profit for our golf updates now stands at a staggering 321.43 so make sure you keep up to date with James’ weekly updates which carry on this week with the Wyndham Championship leading us into the Fed-Ex Cup play-offs.
Following on from the 321pt level stakes profit offered on our FREE golf tips don’t forget to subscribe to our new football service – WEEKEND FOOTBALL FEVER. James Cochrane, Neil Hubbard and Gary Emmerson aim to bring you the best football bets each and every weekend. The trio ended last season with a level stakes profit of over 11pts and enjoyed a World Cup to remember during the summer, once more ending in profit to the tune of 8pts. The FREE ante-post football previews are available to all but don’t miss out on the weekly updates which have already successfully highlighted Peterborough to beat Bristol Rovers @ 5/6, Swansea to beat Preston @ 5/6 and Blackpool +0.25 @ 7/5…..
There have been plenty of column inches written over the summer about the impossible task facing Ian Holloway’s men this year. However, their opening fixture could provide a decent opportunity to get some early points on the board and the Tangerines happily played the underdog role last year which means that you couldn’t safely assume a home win. Wigan’s campaign was riddled with inconsistency last year and they’ve no certainties to take all 3pts here with star man Charles N’Zogbia reportedly handing in a transfer request this week.
